Two nominations for the Icelandic Advertisement Awards

Gagarin has received two nominations for the 2011 Icelandic Advertisement Awards. Our new years gift, the "Create-O-Mat" app, is nominated in the Direct mail category and the Renewable energy exhibition in the Events catagory.

Gagarin awarded winner in a competition for the Canadian Museum for Human Rights

Gagarin has been awarded winner of “CMHR Media and Technology 2“ request for proposal. Gagarin has been hired to design and develop three interactive installations for the Canadian Museum for Human Rights (CMHR) in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Award winning idea

Gagarin, Batteriid Architects and Landslag formed a design group which shared the first prize in a design competition for the tourist attraction Þríhnjúkagígur on the Reykjanes peninsula. Þríhnjúkagígur is an old volcano with a huge empty magma chamber where plans are to allow visitors to travel into the earth and experience the volcano from within.
