The contract of designing and implementing the exhibition at the Nordic Pavilion for the EXPO 2025 Osaka has been awarded to Team Exponex, with Exponex, Wintenex, Habegger, Kvorning Design, Rintala Eggertsson Architects and Gagarin onboard. The pavilion will represent the unity of the five Nordic countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden.
The pan-Nordic team of designers has created an intriguing story of life in the North, of values and the ever-present relationship with nature. The exhibition will take the visitor on a journey through the Nordic societies where trust and collaboration have aways been binding ingredients. The exhibition will be produced under the supervision of Exponex from Czech Republic and Wintenex and Habegger from Switzerland. Their wide experience from international exhibition venues and World Expos in particular, will be a of high value for the client – a partnership between the Trade Promotion Organizations in the Nordic countries.
The Nordic Pavilion will serve as a platform to showcase the Nordic countries' commitment to sustainability, innovation, and cooperation. The pavilion's concept is aligned with the Nordic Cooperation's "Vision 2030," aiming to make the Nordic region the most sustainable and integrated region in the world by 2030.
It's a significant honour and recognition for Gagarin to be part of the design team for the exhibition pavilion, which serves as a promotional platform for all the Nordic countries and marks the company's first exhibition project in Asia. Kristin Eva Olafsdottir, CEO Gagarín

The pavilion will feature joint Nordic activities, including themed days focusing on lifestyle and well-being, green transition and circular economy, and mobility and connectivity. These activities will showcase the Nordic countries' shared values and strengths, encouraging collaboration and exchange between Nordic and Japanese stakeholders.
