On a clear day we have a view from Gagarin’s office across 120 kilometres of open water to the imposing sight of Snæfellsjökull glacier (1,446m). This glacier capped volcano is located at the tip of the Snæfellsnes peninsula and is famed for being the place where the main protagonists in Jules Verne’s 1864 novel, Journey to the Center of the Earth, begin their adventurous descent. We planned a weekend trip to this iconic location...

A permanent exhibition about the fascinating story of the Norwegian oil industry was opened on 13 March 2014 at the Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology in Oslo. The architects at CoDesign in Stockholm are the exhibition designers and Gagarin was hired by them to design and develop four interactive installations for this exhibition.

The hot spring area around our old and beloved Geysir will soon be getting a redesign as more and more visitors are showing up every year. 'Geysir in Haukadal .. warm currents... of Nature and People' is the name of an award winning proposal by Landmótun.
