Whales of Iceland, the exhibition, has since its opening been developing new experiences for the visitor with various additions and designs. Gagarin was i.e. hired to produce two new exhibits base on scientific data gathered by scientists.
Three different whales were tracked over a period of time where they swam around their feeding grounds, the nutritious oceans around Iceland, and all the way to their breeding grounds of the coasts of Cuba. Visitors in the exhibition can follow them from day to day and learn of their behavior and what may encounter them during their migration. Their story is presented in a form of a diary with images and videos – all in an interactive manner.
