The map installation allows multiple users to simultaneously explore 20 different topics from the archaeological excavation side of the Roman villa, and various interesting topics connected to Roman times such as agriculture, geology, trade, sailing and culture in and around Slovenia.

The project

At the archaeological site of San Simon in Slovenia you will find one of the best preserved and explored remains of a Roman seaside villa.  Its is considered a significant cultural site from the golden era of the Roman Empire. This project is called: AS - Archaeology for all. Revival of the Archaeological Park Simonov zaliv and the leading partner is the Institute for Archeology and Heritage of the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Primorska.
