The Norwegian Glacier Museum has for a long time been a very popular destination by visitors worldwide. The exhibitions covers topics within both the natural and cultural history with interactive installations and an experimental section on ice.

The Museum which was originally designed by the famous architect Sverre Fehn is located in the surreal landscapes of Fjærlandet which placed Norway on the map as a tourist destination from the late eighteen hundreds.

The Gagarin team along with two great architects Gunnþóra Guðmundsdóttir and Michael Blikdal are now revising the narrative thread and design of the exhibition adding few new interactive installations which will address the climate changes, people’s adoption to that change and how green energy can play an important role in the future.  The new revised exhibition will open 2014.
