Our designers received an award and a recognition this week at The Association of Icelandic Graphic Designers Awards 2015 (FÍT Awards) in the category of "Information- & Interactive Design". Gagarin was awarded for the Eldheimar exhibition in Vestmannaeyjar where we produced four interactive installations that explain different aspects of this historic event. We worked in close collaboration with the exhibition designer, Axel Hallkell Jóhannesson, to tie our interactive narration tight into the overall exhibiton.
Gagarin also received recognition for the Oil and gas exhibition. The exhibition is about the exciting story of the Norwegian oil industry was opened on 13 March 2014 at the Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology in Oslo. The architects at CoDesign in Stockholm are the exhibition designers and Gagarin was hired by them to design and develop interactive installations for this exhibition.
